Walking
If you are starting from the Florence Cathedral (Duomo), exit onto Piazza del Duomo and head southwest towards Via dei Calzaiuoli. Continue straight on Via dei Calzaiuoli until you reach Piazza della Signoria. From there, walk towards the Uffizi Gallery, and then continue along the riverbank of the Arno River. Cross the Ponte Vecchio bridge and proceed straight until you reach the end of the street. Turn left onto Via Guicciardini and continue straight. Eventually, you will reach Piazza de' Pitti. The Gallery of Modern Art is located at Piazza de' Pitti, 1.
