From the Piazza della Signoria, head east towards the Uffizi Gallery. Walk along the river on Lungarno degli Acciaiuoli until you reach Ponte Vecchio bridge. Cross the bridge and continue straight until you reach Via de' Tornabuoni. Turn left and continue until you reach Piazza della Repubblica. From there, follow the same directions to Via de' Martelli as mentioned above.

If you're near the train station (Firenze Santa Maria Novella), you can take bus line 1 or 7 from the station. Get off at the stop 'Piazza della Repubblica'.
