Walking
If you are near the Florence Cathedral (Duomo), head northeast on Via dei Servi toward Via della Repubblica. After about 5 minutes, you will reach Piazza della Repubblica. From there, walk straight onto Via dei Calzaiuoli, which will lead you to Piazza della Signoria. Continue straight to Piazza della Signoria, then take Via dei Neri on your right. This street will lead you directly to Piazza del Mercato Centrale, where the market is located.

Public Transport (Bus)
If you are further away, consider taking a bus. Find the nearest bus stop, and take bus number 1 or 7 towards 'Stazione' (the train station). Get off at the stop 'Via Nazionale' (approximately 10 minutes ride). From there, walk towards Piazza del Mercato Centrale, which is just a 5-minute walk. Head southwest on Via Nazionale, then turn left onto Via dell'Indipendenza, which will take you directly to the market.

If you're arriving by train at Santa Maria Novella Station, exit the station and head towards Piazza della Stazione. Walk straight along Via dell'Indipendenza for about 15 minutes. You will pass several shops and cafes. Continue until you reach Piazza del Mercato Centrale, which will be on your right.
