If you are in the central area of Florence, start at Piazza del Duomo (Cathedral Square). From the Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore, head southeast on Via dei Calzaiuoli. From here, take Via dei Neri, which will lead you in the direction of the Basilica di San Lorenzo. Follow this street until you reach the Basilica, which is located at Piazza di San Lorenzo.
