Walking
From the center of San Marco, head south on Via Giuseppe Garibaldi toward Via della Pergola. Continue straight until you reach Piazza della Libertà. At the square, turn right onto Via Cavour and follow it until you reach the intersection with Via dei Servi. Turn left onto Via dei Servi, and continue straight until you see the beautiful façade of the Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore. The Campanile di Giotto is located right next to the cathedral, so just look for the tall, striking bell tower which is hard to miss.

Public Transport (Bus)
If you prefer not to walk, you can take a local bus. From San Marco, walk to the nearest bus stop at Via Cavour. Take the bus number 1, 6, or 14 in the direction of the Duomo. The ride will take about 5 minutes. Get off at the 'Duomo' stop, and upon exiting, you will see the Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore directly in front of you. The Campanile di Giotto is adjacent to the cathedral. Note that a single bus ticket costs around €1.50 and is valid for 90 minutes.
