If you are traveling by car, start your journey in the city of Udine, which is about 90 kilometers from Kobarid. Take the A23 motorway towards Tarvisio and exit at 'Gemona del Friuli.' Follow the signs for SS13 towards Venzone, then SS56 until you reach the intersection with the SS102 road. Continue on SS102 until you arrive in Kobarid. From Kobarid, follow the local signs towards the Soča River Viewpoint, which is located just outside the town. There is a parking area near the viewpoint where you can leave your car.

Public Transportation
To reach Soča River Viewpoint using public transportation, take a train from Udine to Tarvisio. From Tarvisio, catch a bus (Bus No. 20) towards Kobarid. The bus ride takes about 1 hour. Once you arrive in Kobarid, you will need to walk approximately 2 kilometers to the viewpoint. Follow the signs along the main road towards the Soča River, where the viewpoint is clearly marked. Ensure to check the bus schedules in advance as service may be limited.
