Please note that parking may incur a fee, so have some cash or a credit card ready.

To reach the Rilke Trail by public transport, take a train to Duino from Trieste. Trains run frequently from Trieste Centrale station to Duino. The journey takes approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at the Duino train station, exit and walk towards the village center. Follow the signs for the Rilke Trail, which is about a 20-minute walk from the station. Alternatively, you can take a local bus from the train station to Duino, which might be more convenient if you have luggage. Bus tickets can be purchased at the station or on the bus, and the fare is typically around €2.
