    Getting There

    Walking

    From Herculaneum's archaeological site, exit the site and head south towards Via Roma. Continue walking straight on Via Roma until you reach the intersection with Corso Resina. Turn left onto Corso Resina and walk until you reach the train station called Ercolano Scavi. Once you arrive at the station, take the Circumvesuviana train towards Sorrento. Get off at the next stop, which is Torre del Greco. Upon exiting the station, walk towards the coast. Follow the signs leading to the Spiaggia di Cartaromana, which is about a 15-minute walk from the train station. Enjoy the beautiful beach!

    Public Transport

    Start at the Herculaneum archaeological site and make your way to the Ercolano Scavi train station. Once there, board the Circumvesuviana train heading to Sorrento. After a short ride, disembark at Torre del Greco station. From there, you can either walk towards the beach, which will take around 15 minutes, or catch a local bus that goes to the coast. Make sure to check the bus schedule, as they might run infrequently. The beach, Spiaggia di Cartaromana, will be well-signposted.
