Getting There

  • Walking

    From the central area of Herculaneum, head towards the main street, Via IV Novembre. Walk straight until you reach the intersection with Via Roma. Turn left onto Via Roma and continue walking until you reach the Herculaneum Archaeological Site entrance. From there, you can take a train at the Ercolano Scavi station, which is a short walk away. Board the Circumvesuviana train towards Naples. After a brief journey, disembark at Napoli Centrale railway station. Once there, exit the station and follow signs for the metro. Take Line 1 towards Piscinola and get off at the Municipio station. From the Municipio metro station, it's approximately a 15-minute walk to P.zza Vittoria. Head towards Via Acton, then turn left onto Via Vittoria Colonna until you arrive at the square.

    From Herculaneum, walk to the Ercolano Scavi train station. Board the Circumvesuviana train towards Naples and get off at Napoli Centrale.
