Getting There

Walking
From the central area of Herculaneum, make your way to the nearest train station, Ercolano Scavi. Exit the station and head towards Corso Resina. Walk straight along Corso Resina for approximately 800 meters until you reach the intersection with Via Roma. Turn right onto Via Roma and continue straight until you reach the Pompei Scavi - Villa dei Misteri train station. Here, you can catch a train towards Pompei. After a short ride of about 20 minutes, disembark at Pompei. Upon exiting the station, head towards the main street, Via Villa dei Misteri, and walk in the direction of the ruins. After about 700 meters, turn left onto Vicolo di Cocilio Giocondo. The House of Caecilius will be on your right.

Bus
From central Herculaneum, walk to the nearest bus stop on Corso Resina. Look for the bus number 1 or 2, which travels toward Pompei. Board the bus and pay your fare. The bus ride will take approximately 30 minutes. Get off at the Pompei Scavi stop. Once you exit, walk along Via Villa dei Misteri for around 500 meters. Turn left onto Vicolo di Cocilio Giocondo, and you will find The House of Caecilius on your right.

Start your journey from the Ercolano Scavi train station in Herculaneum. Purchase a ticket to Pompei (Pompei Scavi - Villa dei Misteri). Board the train, which typically runs every 30 minutes. The journey will take about 20 minutes. Once you arrive at Pompei, exit the train station and head towards Via Villa dei Misteri. Walk straight for about 700 meters, then turn left onto Vicolo di Cocilio Giocondo. The House of Caecilius will be on your right side.
