To reach the Royal Palace of Caserta by car from any location in Irpinia, start by getting onto the A16 motorway (Autostrada dei Due Mari). If you're near Avellino, take the exit for Avellino Est and merge onto the A16. Follow the signs for Naples/Caserta. After approximately 30 kilometers, take the exit towards Caserta. Continue on the SS7 (Via Appia) and follow the signs for the Royal Palace. The palace is located at Piazza Carlo di Borbone, 81100 Caserta CE. Parking is available near the palace, but be prepared for potential fees ranging from €1 to €2 per hour.

If you prefer public transportation, take a train from Avellino to Caserta. Head to the Avellino train station and purchase a ticket to Caserta. Trains run regularly, and the journey takes about 1 hour. Once you arrive at Caserta train station, exit the station and take bus line 1 or 2 towards the city center. Get off at the stop 'Piazza Carlo di Borbone' which is right in front of the Royal Palace. The bus fare is approximately €1.50.
