Walking
Bocca d'Ombrone is accessible via the A7 trail from the Parco Naturale della Maremma visitor center near Alberese. From the visitor center, follow the signs for Marina di Alberese. The A7 trail begins a short distance before reaching Marina di Alberese. The walk to Bocca d'Ombrone is approximately 5.6 km (about 3.5 miles) and is mostly flat. The trail is well-marked and offers views of the Ombrone plain. There is a small fee to enter the Maremma Regional Park: approximately €5 for adults and €2 for children (ages 6-14).
Public Transport
To reach the Parco Naturale della Maremma visitor center from Grosseto, take the bus line 29F operated by Tiemme Toscana. The bus departs from Grosseto train station and stops near the park's visitor center in Alberese. From the visitor center, follow the walking directions to Bocca d'Ombrone.
