We were a bit skeptical about tackling a two-hour walk in these temperatures, but instead, it was the best choice! Giuseppe, our very competent guide, was extremely thorough but above all pleasant to listen to. He accompanied us to discover the "old" city, making time fly by. Compliments!

Travel through the countryside to 2 important historical sites. The Trulli were interesting and Matera was magical. Our guide Graziano was very knowledgeable and gave us insight all along our ride. I wish we had more time in Matera as there was so much history and so much to see. It was wonderful to be there late day and after sundown.
