If you are driving from Portofino, head out of the town along the SP227 road towards Santa Margherita Ligure. Continue straight for about 7 kilometers until you reach a roundabout. Take the second exit to merge onto the A12 highway towards Genoa. After approximately 30 kilometers, take exit 3 towards Genova/Porto. Follow the signs for the city center, and you will arrive at Piazza Raffaele de Ferrari, where the Palazzo della Regione Liguria is located. Look for parking options near the square.

To reach Palazzo della Regione Liguria from Portofino using public transport, first, walk to the nearest bus stop on the main road (approximately a 15-minute walk). Take the bus line 82 towards Santa Margherita Ligure. After about 10 minutes, get off at Santa Margherita Ligure train station. From there, take a train to Genoa. The train ride takes around 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Genoa's Brignole station, exit the station and head towards Via XX Settembre. Walk straight for about 10 minutes until you reach Piazza Raffaele de Ferrari, where the Palazzo is located.
