From the Termini Station, take Tram Line 8 towards Casaletto. Get off at the 'Piazza di San Francesco a Ripa' stop. From there, head towards Via di San Francesco a Ripa, walking straight until you reach Piazza di Santa Maria in Trastevere. The Basilica will be on your left as you enter the square.

Walking from the Colosseum
From the Colosseum, head southwest towards Via Labicana. Walk along Via Labicana until you reach the intersection with Via Merulana. Cross over Ponte Garibaldi, then follow the signs to Trastevere and finally to Piazza di Santa Maria in Trastevere.
