Walking
If you are starting from the central area of Rome, such as Piazza Navona, head northwest on Via di Tor Millina towards Corso Vittorio Emanuele II. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Via dei Banchi Nuovi. Turn left onto Via dei Banchi Nuovi and continue until you reach the Tiber River. Turn right onto Lungotevere and follow the riverbank until you see the Ponte Sant'Angelo bridge. Cross the bridge and continue forward, keeping the Castel Sant'Angelo on your left. Once you reach the end of the bridge, continue straight onto Via della Conciliazione, which will lead you directly to the entrance of St. Peter's Square, where the Bernini Fountain is located.

From Termini Station, take Metro Line A towards Battistini. Get off at the Ottaviano/San Pietro station. Exit the station and walk down Via Ottaviano toward St. Peter's Basilica. After about a 10-minute walk, you will reach St. Peter's Square. The Bernini Fountain is located within the square, easily visible as you approach the basilica.

If you are near the Vatican Museums, exit the museums and head towards Viale Vaticano. Walk straight down Viale Vaticano until you reach the intersection with Via della Conciliazione. Turn right onto Via della Conciliazione and walk straight for about 5 minutes. You will enter St. Peter's Square, where you will find the Bernini Fountain prominently located in front of St. Peter's Basilica.
