Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are starting from the Colosseum, exit the Colosseum and head northwest on Via della Polveriera. Continue straight until you reach Piazza Venezia. Here, you will see the impressive Altare della Patria. From Piazza Venezia, take Via del Corso heading north. After about 1 km, turn left onto Via di Ripetta. Continue until you reach the Tiber River and walk along the riverbank. Cross the Ponte Sisto bridge to reach Trastevere. Once in Trastevere, follow signs to Piazza Giuseppe Garibaldi, which is located on the Janiculum Hill. The walk will take approximately 30-40 minutes.

    From Termini Station, take bus number 75 towards 'Crispi' and get off at the stop 'Piazza di Porta San Pancrazio'. From there, it is a short walk to Piazza Giuseppe Garibaldi.
