Walking
If you are starting from the Colosseum, exit the Colosseum and head northwest on Via della Polveriera. Continue straight until you reach Piazza Venezia. Here, you will see the impressive Altare della Patria. From Piazza Venezia, take Via del Corso heading north. After about 1 km, turn left onto Via di Ripetta. Continue until you reach the Tiber River and walk along the riverbank. Cross the Ponte Sisto bridge to reach Trastevere. Once in Trastevere, follow signs to Piazza Giuseppe Garibaldi, which is located on the Janiculum Hill. The walk will take approximately 30-40 minutes.

Public Transport (Bus)
From Termini Station, take bus number 75 towards 'Crispi' and get off at the stop 'Piazza di Porta San Pancrazio'. From there, it is a short walk to Piazza Giuseppe Garibaldi. Head towards the entrance of the Gianicolo park, and follow the signs up the hill to reach the piazza. The total travel time is around 25 minutes, including waiting time.

If you are near the Vatican, exit St. Peter's Basilica and head toward Via della Conciliazione. Walk straight until you reach the Tiber River. Cross the river via the Ponte Vittorio Emanuele II and continue on the other side until you reach Via Garibaldi. Follow Via Garibaldi uphill, and you will arrive at Piazza Giuseppe Garibaldi. This route will take approximately 30 minutes.

From the area of Trastevere, you can take Tram 8 towards 'Piazza Venezia'. Get off at the stop 'Ripa/Porta San Pancrazio'. From there, follow the signs to the top of the hill, which will lead you to Piazza Giuseppe Garibaldi. This journey will take about 20 minutes total.
