Starting from the center of San Gimignano, head towards the main road, Via San Giovanni. Walk straight until you reach the intersection with Via delle Terme. Turn left onto Via delle Terme and continue walking. After a short distance, you will see signs directing you to the bus stop for Florence. Take the bus that heads to Florence, which will drop you off in the city center after approximately 1 hour.

After arriving in Florence, disembark at the Santa Maria Novella bus station. From the bus station, head out to Via della Scala and turn left. Walk straight until you reach Piazza di Santa Maria Novella. From there, continue walking straight down Via della Storia until you reach the Arno River. Cross the river using the Ponte alla Carraia bridge. Once across, turn right onto Via della Chiesa and continue walking until you reach Piazza Santo Spirito. The Basilica di Santo Spirito will be on your left at Piazza Santo Spirito, 30.
