From the center of San Gimignano, head towards the main square, Piazza della Cisterna. From there, take the road that leads out of the square, Via San Giovanni, and continue straight for about 800 meters until you reach the junction with the Strada Provinciale 1. Turn right onto the Strada Provinciale 1 and walk for approximately 1.5 kilometers until you arrive at the bus stop labeled 'Volterra.'

Once you reach the bus stop, look for the bus service to Volterra. The bus schedule may vary, so be sure to check the times. Board the bus, and enjoy the scenic ride to Volterra. The journey will take about 30-40 minutes. Once you arrive at the Volterra bus station, exit the bus and head towards the main road, Via dei Sarti.
