If you are in the center of Siena, head towards Piazza del Campo, the main square. From there, exit the square towards Via di Città, which is the main street leading out of the square. Walk straight along Via di Città until you reach the intersection with Via Banchi di Sopra. Turn left onto Via Banchi di Sopra and continue straight until you reach the bus station, 'Siena Stazione'. Here, you will catch a bus to Volterra. Look for the buses heading to 'Volterra' or 'Cecina'. The bus ride will take approximately 1 hour.

From Siena, once you arrive at the bus station, buy a ticket for 'Volterra'. Buses run regularly, and it's advisable to check the timetable upon arrival. Once on the bus, enjoy the scenic ride through the beautiful Tuscan countryside. After about an hour, you will arrive at the bus stop in Volterra. From the bus stop, exit and head towards the town center. Follow the signs for 'Centro Storico', which will lead you through charming streets and eventually to Piazza dei Priori.
