From the central Piazza Tasso in Sorrento, head towards the Corso Italia and continue walking straight. You will pass several shops and cafes along the way. After about 10 minutes of walking, you will reach the Sorrento train station (Stazione di Sorrento). Here, you can catch the Circumvesuviana train towards Naples. Board the train and enjoy the scenic ride, which takes about 1 hour. Once you arrive at the Naples station, follow the signs towards the Metro Line 2 (the green line). Take the train towards Pozzuoli and get off at the Mergellina station.
