Walking
From the center of Taormina, head towards Corso Umberto I, the main street. Walk in the direction of Porta Messina. Once you reach Porta Messina, continue straight until you reach the intersection with Via Luigi Pirandello. Turn left onto Via Luigi Pirandello and continue walking until you reach the bus station. From the bus station, take bus number 3 towards Messina. After approximately 30 minutes, get off at the stop 'Piazza della Repubblica.' Then, head towards the nearby bus stop to catch bus number 5 towards 'Batteria Masotto.' Disembark at 'Piazzale Batteria Masotto,' which is the closest stop to the monument.

Walking
If you prefer a direct walking route, from Corso Umberto I, walk towards the Funivia di Taormina (the cable car). Take the cable car down to Mazzarò. From there, follow the coastline towards Messina, where you will eventually reach the foot of the hill leading to Piazzale Batteria Masotto. As you ascend the hill, follow the signs directing you to the monument. This route may take approximately 1.5 to 2 hours depending on your pace.
