Getting There

• Car

  If you are driving from any location in the Venetian Riviera, head towards Venice via the A4 motorway. Take the exit for Venice and follow the signs for 'Venezia Centro' (Venice Center). Once you enter Venice, parking is limited, so consider parking at one of the garages such as 'Parcheggio Piazzale Roma.' From there, you will need to walk or take public transport. To reach San Polo, walk towards the Rialto Bridge, then head southwest along Calle del Stagner. Continue until you reach Calle del Galizzi where San Polo is located. Note that parking may incur a fee, typically around €30 per day.

• Public Transportation

  To reach San Polo via public transport, first take a train to Venice Santa Lucia station. Once you arrive, exit the station and head towards the Vaporetto (water bus) stop located nearby. Purchase a ticket for a Vaporetto that goes to San Marco or Rialto. Depending on the line, it may take approximately 30 minutes. Once you disembark at the Rialto stop, walk towards the Rialto Bridge, then proceed along Calle del Stagner and turn onto Calle del Galizzi (San Polo's address). A single Vaporetto ticket typically costs around €7.50.

• Walking from Rialto

  If you are already near the Rialto area, you can easily walk to San Polo. From the Rialto Bridge, head southwest along the main street (Calle del Stagner). You will pass through charming Venetian alleys and shops. Continue walking straight for about 10 minutes until you reach Calle del Galizzi, where you will find San Polo located at number 1016.
