Getting There

  • Walking

    From the San Polo area, head towards the Grand Canal. Walk along the narrow streets until you reach the Campo San Polo. Once you arrive at the campo, you will see the large church, Chiesa di San Polo. From there, exit the campo and head towards the Rio di San Polo canal. Cross the bridge over the canal, and continue straight until you see the signs for Ramo de la Dogana da Tera. Follow the signs and you will reach Dogana da Terra, located at Ramo de la Dogana da Tera, 738.

  • Vaporetto (Water Bus)

    If you prefer to use the Vaporetto, walk to the nearest Vaporetto stop at San Tomà. From there, take the Line 1 Vaporetto towards Rialto. Get off at the next stop, which is Rialto. Then, transfer to Line 2 towards San Zaccaria and get off at the next stop, which is the Zattere. From Zattere, walk back towards the Grand Canal and follow the signs to Ramo de la Dogana da Tera, which is about a 10-minute walk away.
