If you're traveling by car to Piazza San Marco from anywhere in the Venetian Riviera, start by heading towards the A4 motorway (Autostrada Serenissima) and follow signs for Venice. Upon approaching Venice, you will need to park your vehicle at one of the designated parking areas, such as the Tronchetto parking facility. Parking fees are approximately €21 for 24 hours. After parking, take the People Mover (a monorail system) from Tronchetto to Piazzale Roma. This costs around €1.50. From Piazzale Roma, you can either walk (about 20 minutes) or take a Vaporetto (water bus) Line 1 or Line 2 towards San Marco, which costs €7.50. Disembark at the 'San Marco' stop, and you will find yourself at the square.

If you are taking a train to Venice, arrive at Santa Lucia train station. From the station, exit and head to the Vaporetto stop (water bus station). Take Line 1 or Line 2 towards San Marco. Disembark at the 'San Marco' stop, and you will be just steps away from Piazza San Marco.
