If you are in the main square of San Marco (Piazza San Marco), head towards the central area of the square where the Basilica di San Marco is located. From the basilica, walk towards the water's edge, keeping the basilica on your left. You will see the 'Piazzetta San Marco' ahead of you. Continue straight, and you will find Colonna di San Marco at the edge of the piazzetta, standing tall next to the Colonna di San Todaro. The walk should take about 5 minutes from the basilica.

If you are further away and would like to take a Vaporetto (water bus), head to the nearest Vaporetto stop. The closest stop to San Marco is 'San Marco - Vallaresso'. Purchase a ticket from the ticket machine or ticket booth (cost is approximately €7.50 for a single ride). Board the Vaporetto heading to 'San Marco'. Once you arrive at the San Marco stop, disembark and follow the walking directions provided above to reach Colonna di San Marco.
