    If you are starting from the famous St. Mark's Square, head southwest towards the Ponte della Paglia. Cross the bridge and continue straight through the narrow streets towards the Rialto Market. Once you reach the Grand Canal, turn right and walk along the canal until you reach the Rialto Bridge. Cross the bridge and continue along the street until you reach the Campo San Polo. From there, take the narrow street on the left that leads towards the Chiesa di San Rocco. After passing the church, follow the signs towards Piazzale Roma. From Piazzale Roma, follow the signs towards Santa Lucia Train Station and exit towards the bus terminal. Here, you can catch a bus to Padua. Make sure to check the bus schedule ahead of time.

    From Venice Santa Lucia Train Station, purchase a ticket to Padua. Trains run frequently, so check the schedule for the next available train.
