Getting There

  • Walking

    From Piazza San Marco, head towards the Grand Canal. Walk down the Calle Larga XXII Marzo, and when you reach the canal, turn left onto the Riva degli Schiavoni. Continue walking along the canal until you see the Ponte dell'Accademia (Academy Bridge). Cross the bridge to the opposite side. Once you are across, continue straight on the Calle della Carità, then take a right onto Calle dei Forni. Follow this street until you reach Campo San Samuele, where Palazzo Malipiero is located. The Palazzo will be on your right as you enter the square.

  • Vaporetto (Water Bus)

    If you prefer to use public transport, take the Vaporetto from the nearest stop to your location in San Marco. Board the line 1 Vaporetto towards 'Ferrovia' and get off at the 'Accademia' stop. From here, cross the Ponte dell'Accademia (Academy Bridge), then head straight along the Calle della Carità, take a right onto Calle dei Forni, and continue until you reach Campo San Samuele. The Palazzo Malipiero is located on this square. Please note that a single Vaporetto ticket costs approximately €7.50 and is valid for 75 minutes.
