Getting There

• Car

  If you're driving from other parts of Versilia, head towards Viareggio. From the A12 motorway, take Exit 12 for Viareggio and follow the signs for Viareggio Centro. Once in Viareggio, follow Viale Giosuè Carducci until you reach Viale dei Tigli. Turn left on Via Santa Maria Goretti. The Museo Carnevale is located at Cittadella Carnevale, at number 5. There is typically street parking available nearby, but be aware of local parking regulations to avoid fines.

• Train

  If you're using public transportation, take a train to Viareggio station. From the station, exit and walk towards the bus stop located right outside. Catch bus line 6 or 7, which will take you towards the Cittadella Carnevale. Get off at the stop 'Cittadella Carnevale'. The museum is just a short walk from the bus stop, located at Via Santa Maria Goretti, 5.

• Bus

  For those already in the vicinity of Viareggio, local buses are available. Check the local bus schedule for lines that head towards Cittadella Carnevale. The bus will drop you off at a stop close to the museum. Once you get off, simply walk towards Via Santa Maria Goretti, and you'll find the museum at number 5.

• Walking

  If you're within walking distance in Viareggio, the museum is accessible on foot. Start from the city center and head towards Viale Giosuè Carducci. Follow this road until you reach Viale dei Tigli, then turn left onto Via Santa Maria Goretti. The museum is located at Cittadella Carnevale, number 5. It should take about 20-30 minutes to walk from the city center.
