Getting There

  • Train

    From Shinjuku Station, take the JR Chuo Line (Rapid) towards Tokyo Station. After 10 minutes, get off at Shinjuku Station. Transfer to the Tokyo Metro Marunouchi Line and head towards Ikebukuro. Get off at Kasumigaseki Station after 4 stops. At Kasumigaseki Station, transfer to the Tokyo Metro Hibiya Line and take the train towards Naka-Meguro. Get off at the next stop, which is Hiroo Station. Exit from Hiroo Station (Exit 2) and walk straight for about 10 minutes. You will find Kakurin-ji (Seishōkō) at 1 Chome-1-47 Shirokanedai.

  • Subway

    If you are at Tokyo Station, take the Tokyo Metro Marunouchi Line towards Ikebukuro. Get off at the 5th stop at Kasumigaseki Station. Transfer to the Tokyo Metro Hibiya Line and take the train towards Naka-Meguro. Get off at Hiroo Station, which is just 2 stops away. After exiting at Hiroo Station (Exit 2), you can walk to Kakurin-ji (Seishōkō) in about 10 minutes. The temple is located at 1 Chome-1-47 Shirokanedai.

  • Walking

    If you are staying in the Shirokanedai area, simply walk to the temple. From Shirokanedai Station, exit the station and head east on Shirokanedai Street. Continue straight for about 5 minutes until you reach the intersection with the main road. Turn left and walk for another 5 minutes. Kakurin-ji (Seishōkō) will be on your right at 1 Chome-1-47 Shirokanedai.

  • Bus

    From Roppongi Station, take the Toei Bus (bound for Shirokanedai). It will take approximately 15 minutes. Get off at the Shirokanedai bus stop. From the bus stop, walk straight for 5 minutes along Shirokanedai Street, and you will arrive at Kakurin-ji (Seishōkō) located at 1 Chome-1-47 Shirokanedai.
