Getting There

    If you are driving from Kai to Tokyo Joypolis, start by getting onto the Chuo Expressway (中央自動車道) from Kai. Follow the signs towards Tokyo, and merge onto the Shuto Expressway (首都高速道路) upon entering the Tokyo area. Take the exit for Daiba and follow the signs to DECKS Tokyo Beach. Tokyo Joypolis is located on the 3rd to 5th floors of DECKS Tokyo Beach. Note that parking fees may apply at DECKS Tokyo Beach, so be prepared for those additional costs.

  • Train

    For public transportation, take a train from Kai Station (甲府駅) to Shinjuku Station (新宿駅) via the JR Chuo Line (中央線). Once at Shinjuku, transfer to the JR Yamanote Line (山手線) towards Osaki. Get off at Shimbashi Station (新橋駅) and transfer to the Yurikamome Line (ゆりかもめ) which serves the waterfront area. Ride the Yurikamome Line to Daiba Station (台場駅). From Daiba Station, it’s a short walk to DECKS Tokyo Beach where Tokyo Joypolis is located on the 3rd to 5th floors. Be aware of the costs for each train segment; a ticket from Kai to Shinjuku will typically cost around 1,500 yen, and the Yurikamome Line from Shimbashi to Daiba is about 320 yen.
