If you are driving from central Bizen, head northwest on Route 2 towards Okayama. After approximately 30 minutes, take the exit toward Route 313. Continue on Route 313 for about 20 minutes until you reach the Ikurado Cave. Follow the signs to the parking area, which is directly adjacent to the cave entrance. Note that parking may incur a small fee.

To reach Ikurado Cave using public transportation, start by taking a train from Bizen to Niimi Station. From Niimi Station, you can take a local bus to the Ikurado Cave bus stop. The bus ride takes about 30 minutes. Check the local bus schedule in advance to ensure you have the correct times, as services may be limited. After getting off at the Ikurado Cave bus stop, it is a short walk to the cave entrance.

If you find yourself at the Ikurado Cave bus stop, simply follow the path leading to the entrance. It’s a well-marked way, and should take no more than 10 minutes on foot. Be prepared for some inclines and staircases.
