Getting There

  • Car

    To reach Fukuoka Art Museum by car from Chikugo, start by getting onto the Kyushu Expressway (E3). Follow the signs for Fukuoka and merge onto the expressway. Continue driving for approximately 30 km. Take the exit towards Fukuoka City (Exit 14) and merge onto Route 3. Follow Route 3 for about 5 km, and then follow signs for Chuo Ward. The museum is located at 1-6 Ohorikoen, Chuo Ward, Fukuoka. There is parking available at the museum, but please note that parking fees may apply.

  • Public Transportation (Train)

    From Chikugo, take the Nishitetsu Tenjin Omuta Line train from Chikugo Yoshii Station towards Tenjin. The journey takes around 35 minutes. Alight at Tenjin Station and transfer to the Fukuoka City Subway (Kuko Line). Take the train towards Meinohama and get off at the Ohori Koen Station. From there, it is a 10-minute walk to Fukuoka Art Museum. Follow the signs to Ohori Park, and then head towards the museum located at 1-6 Ohorikoen, Chuo Ward, Fukuoka. A one-way train ticket will cost around 600 yen.
