    To reach Iwaya Castle Ruins via public transport, start at Dazaifu Station. From the station, walk towards Kanzeonji Temple, approximately a 20-minute walk (1.5 km). Follow the signs to Kanzeonji Temple; Iwaya Castle Ruins are located nearby. Alternatively, take the local 'Mahoroba' bus from Dazaifu Station towards Kanzeonji Temple. Get off at the Kanzeonji stop, from where it's a short 10-minute walk to Iwaya Castle Ruins. The bus fare is around ¥100. The train from Fukuoka (Tenjin Station) to Dazaifu Station costs ¥420 and takes 25-40 minutes.

    If driving, head towards Kanzeonji Temple in Dazaifu. From Route 3, turn onto Kanzeonji Road and continue for about 2 kilometers. Parking is available near Iwaya Castle Ruins. Be aware that parking fees may apply, typically around ¥300 for a short period. Dazaifu Tenmangu Shrine does not have its own parking, but there are several nearby parking lots. These cost ¥400 for the first hour and ¥100 for every subsequent 30 minutes.
