    Getting There

    Public Transport

    From Fukuoka, take a bus from Hakata Bus Terminal to Amagi IC (高速甘木). Buses depart every 15 minutes and the journey takes approximately 57 minutes, costing ¥700-¥1600. From Amagi IC, take a local bus towards Akizukinotori. Sugi no Baba is located in Akizukinotori. Alternatively, take the train from Hakata Station to Kiyama Station, then transfer to the Amagi Railway to Amagi Station. From Amagi Station, take a bus to Akizuki.

    Driving

    From Fukuoka, driving to Sugi no Baba takes approximately 40 minutes. Take the Fukuoka IC and drive on the expressway. Exit at the Asakura IC. From the Asakura IC, follow the signs to Akizuki. Note that there is a toll to use the expressway. Parking is available at the Akizuki Parking Lot Management Association. Parking costs vary but expect to pay around ¥300-500 per hour.
