From Chikuzen, head south on Route 200 towards Itoshima. Travel for approximately 30 minutes (around 25 km). Once you reach Itoshima, follow the signs towards 'Shimakeya'. The Totoro Forest is located at Shimakeya, Itoshima, Fukuoka 819-1335. There is parking available near the entrance of the forest.

Public Transportation
Start by taking a local bus from Chikuzen to Fukuoka. Once you arrive at Fukuoka, transfer to the Nishitetsu train line towards Itoshima. Get off at the Chikushino Station. From there, take a taxi to the Totoro Forest, which is about a 15-minute ride (approximately 5 km). The total travel time will be around 1 hour and 30 minutes, and taxi fare will be approximately 1,500 to 2,000 yen.
