Car
If you're driving to Kaminarimon from anywhere in Chikuzen, start by heading northeast on Route 3. Continue on this road for about 45 kilometers until you reach the outskirts of Fukuoka City. Merge onto the Fukuoka Urban Expressway and follow signs for Hakata. After about 10 kilometers, take the exit toward Tenjin. Follow signs for Asakusa, and you will arrive close to Kaminarimon. There is limited parking available near the temple, so be prepared for possible parking fees.

Public Transportation
To reach Kaminarimon using public transport, first, make your way to Chikuzen Train Station and take the Nishitetsu Tenjin Omuta Line toward Tenjin. The journey will take about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Tenjin, transfer to the Fukuoka City Subway (Kuko Line) and head toward Nakasu-Kawabata Station. At Nakasu-Kawabata, switch to the Hanzomon Line and ride towards Asakusa Station. Once you exit the station, follow the signs to Kaminarimon, which is just a short walk away. Be prepared to spend around 600 yen for the total train fare.
