Getting There

• Car

  If you are driving from the center of Chikuzen, head south on Route 3. Continue on Route 3 for approximately 30 kilometers until you reach Nara. Once in Nara, follow the signs for the Nara Park area. You will find the NARA Visitor Center & Inn at 3 Ikenocho, Nara, 630-8361. There is parking available nearby, but be sure to check for any parking fees that may apply.

• Public Transportation

  To reach the NARA Visitor Center & Inn using public transportation, start by taking a bus from Chikuzen to Nara City. The bus ride will take approximately 45 minutes. Once you arrive at Nara Station, exit the station and head towards the bus terminal located just outside. From there, take the Nara City Loop Bus (known as the 'Nara Kotsu Bus') and get off at the 'Nara Park' stop. Walk approximately 15 minutes towards 3 Ikenocho, where the NARA Visitor Center & Inn is located. Be mindful of the bus fare, which will be around 600-800 yen depending on the route.

• Bicycle

  For those who prefer cycling, you can rent a bicycle in Chikuzen and cycle towards Nara. The distance is roughly 30 kilometers and will take about 2 hours depending on your pace. Once you arrive in Nara, follow the signs to Nara Park. The NARA Visitor Center & Inn is a short ride from the park, located at 3 Ikenocho. Ensure to wear a helmet and consider the local traffic rules.
