Car
If you are traveling by car from central Chikuzen, head north on Route 3 until you reach the junction with Route 200. Turn left onto Route 200 and continue driving for approximately 40 kilometers. You will pass through scenic rural areas. Look for signs directing you to Sounkyo. Once you reach Sounkyo, follow the signs to Ryusei Waterfalls. There is parking available near the entrance to the waterfalls, which is free of charge.
Public Transportation
To reach Ryusei Waterfalls using public transportation, start by taking a train from Chikuzen to the nearest major station, which is Hita Station. From Hita Station, transfer to a bus heading toward Sounkyo. The bus ride will take around 1.5 hours. Once you arrive at the Sounkyo bus stop, walk approximately 20 minutes following the signs to Ryusei Waterfalls. Make sure to check the bus schedule in advance, as services may be limited, especially on weekends.
