From the center of Tsuruoka, head east on Route 7. Follow the signs for Dewa Sanzan. After about 15 km, take the exit toward Yudono Onsen. Continue on the road for about 5 km until you reach Mt. Yudono Shrine. Look for parking areas along the road where you can safely park your car.

From Tsuruoka Station, take the Yamagata Kotsu Bus towards Yudono Onsen. The bus departs regularly, so check the schedule for the most convenient time. After approximately 30 minutes, get off at the Yudono Onsen stop. From there, it is a 15-minute walk to Mt. Yudono Shrine. Follow the signs leading to the shrine, which will guide you along the path.
