Getting There

Car
From the center of Etchu, head south on Route 8. Continue for approximately 20 kilometers until you reach the Toyama area. Once you approach Toyama, keep an eye out for signs directing you to the Toyama Port area. Turn onto Kaigandori Street, which will lead you directly to the Toyama Port Observation Deck. There is ample parking available near the observation deck, but be sure to check for any parking fees (typically around 500 yen for a few hours).

Public Transportation
Start by taking the Toyama Chihō Railway from Etchu station. Board the train bound for Toyama Station. The journey takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Toyama Station, transfer to the Toyama Light Rail and take the train towards the Toyama Port area. Disembark at the 'Kaigandori' station, which is the closest stop to the Toyama Port Observation Deck. From the station, it's a short 10-minute walk to the observation deck, following the signs that lead you along the waterfront.
