Getting There

  • Car

    If you're driving from Omi, head north towards Route 41. Continue on Route 41 for approximately 20 kilometers. Then, take the exit towards Route 128, which will lead you towards Tateyama. Follow Route 128 until you reach the signs for Shōmyō Falls. The parking area is located at the trailhead, where you can leave your car for free.     From Omi, make your way to the nearest train station, Omi Station. Take the JR Takayama Line towards Takayama. You will need to transfer at Toyama Station to the Toyama Chihō Railway.
