Experience Zuiryu-ji

Getting There

  • Bus

    From Kanazawa Station, take the JR Noto Line bound for Nanao. Get off at Takaoka Station (it takes about 30 minutes). Once at Takaoka Station, exit the station and look for the bus terminal. Take the Toyama Chihō Railway bus heading towards Zuiryu-ji. The bus ride is approximately 15 minutes. Get off at the 'Zuiryu-ji' bus stop, which is right in front of the temple.

  • Train and Walk

    From Kanazawa Station, board the JR Hokuriku Shinkansen bound for Toyama. Get off at Takaoka Station (approximately 25 minutes). After exiting Takaoka Station, follow the signs to the east exit. Once you are outside, walk towards the main road and then take a left. Continue walking straight for about 1 kilometer; you will see Zuiryu-ji ahead.

    If you are staying near Takaoka Station, you can walk to Zuiryu-ji. From Takaoka Station, exit towards the east side and head straight down the main road. It’s about a 20-minute walk. Look for the signs directing you to Zuiryu-ji.
