Subway
Start at Hakata Station (博多駅) and take the Kuko Line (空港線) towards Nakasu-Kawabata (中洲川端). At Nakasu-Kawabata, transfer to the Nishi-Tetsu Line (西鉄線) and take a train towards Nishitetsu Kurume (西鉄久留米) or Kitakyushu. Get off at Yahatanishi Station (八幡西駅). From Yahatanishi Station, take a local bus bound for Hiraodai (平尾台). The bus ride will take approximately 30 minutes. Get off at the Hiraodai stop, and you will be very close to the Hiraodai area.

From Tenjin Bus Center (天神バスセンター), board a bus heading directly to Kitakyushu. Look for buses that go to Hiraodai or Kokuraminami Ward. The journey will take about 45 minutes to an hour depending on traffic. Once you arrive at the Hiraodai bus stop, follow the local signs or ask for directions to reach Hiraodai.
