Car
If you are traveling by car, head towards Tonosawa in Hakone. From the Hakone-Yumoto area, take Route 1 towards Odawara. After about 3.5 km, turn right onto Route 732. Drive for approximately 2 km until you reach 24 Tonosawa. Amida-ji Temple will be on your left. Parking is available nearby, but be mindful of any parking fees that may apply.
Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, start by taking the Hakone Tozan Railway from Hakone-Yumoto Station to Tonosawa Station. The journey takes about 10 minutes and costs around 240 yen. Once you arrive at Tonosawa Station, exit the station and walk about 10 minutes to the temple. Head south on Route 732, then turn left onto a path that leads directly to Amida-ji Temple at 24 Tonosawa.
