Car
If you are traveling by car, start from Hakone by taking the National Route 1 towards Gotemba. After approximately 30 minutes, merge onto Route 138 towards Fujikawaguchiko. Continue straight for about 25 km until you reach the intersection with Route 139. Turn left onto Route 139 and follow the signs to Fujikawaguchiko. Oike Park is located at 6713-18 Funatsu, which should be about 5 minutes from the center of Fujikawaguchiko. There is parking available near the park, but be aware that fees may apply.

Public Transportation
To reach Oike Park via public transportation, take the Hakone Tozan Railway from Hakone-Yumoto Station to Gora Station. Transfer to the Odakyu Line and travel to Odawara Station. From Odawara, take the Fujikyu Railway to Fujisan Station. From there, you can catch a local bus heading to Kawaguchi Lake. Get off at the Funatsu stop, and Oike Park is a short 10-minute walk from there. Be sure to check the bus schedules in advance as they can vary throughout the day.

Another option is to take the bus from Hakone to Fujikawaguchiko directly. You can board the Fujikyu Bus at Hakone-Machi or Moto-Hakone Station, heading towards Kawaguchi Lake. The bus ride will take about 1 hour. Once you arrive at the Funatsu stop, Oike Park is just a short walk away. Make sure to confirm the bus schedule as the frequency can change, particularly on weekends.
