  • Car

    If you are traveling by car, start from central Harima and head towards Himeji. You will take Route 2 (also known as the Himeji Bypass) towards Himeji City. Continue on Route 2 until you see the signs for Mt. Shosha. Turn off onto Prefectural Route 5, following the signs to Shosha. The drive should take approximately 30 minutes, depending on traffic. Once you reach the base of Mt. Shosha, there is a parking lot available for visitors, which typically charges around 500 yen for parking.

  • Public Transportation - Train

    To reach Mt. Shosha using public transportation, you can take the JR Sanyo Line from any station in Harima to Himeji Station. Once you arrive at Himeji Station, transfer to the Himeji City Bus. Look for the bus bound for 'Shosha Ropeway' (Shosha Roppe). The bus ride will take approximately 30 minutes, and the fare is around 300 yen. The bus will drop you off at the base of the Mt.
