If you are driving from the Hiroshima countryside, head towards the center of Hiroshima city. Use the Sanyo Expressway (E2) heading towards Hiroshima. Take the exit for Hiroshima City Center (Hiroshima Ekimae). From there, follow signs to Naka Ward. Once in Naka Ward, use a navigation system to guide you to 6-36 Fukuromachi. There is limited parking near the museum, so be sure to check for designated parking areas or street parking. Parking fees may apply.

From Hiroshima countryside, take the JR Sanyo Line to Hiroshima Station. Once at Hiroshima Station, transfer to the Hiroshima Electric Railway (Hiroden) and board a tram heading towards Eba or Katōmachi. Get off at the 'Hiroshima Bus Center' stop. From there, it is a 10-minute walk to the Fukuromachi Elementary School Peace Museum located at 6-36 Fukuromachi, Naka Ward. Keep an eye out for signs directing you to the museum. Tram fares are approximately 200 yen.
