Car
If you are traveling by car, you can use the following directions from Hiroshima city center. Start by taking Route 54 (Hiroshima-Kure Road) heading east. After approximately 25 kilometers, take the exit towards Fukuromachi. Continue straight until you reach Fukuromachi where the Rai Sanyo Historical Site Museum is located at 5-15 Fukuromachi, Naka Ward, Hiroshima, 730-0036. Parking is available nearby but may incur a fee.
Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, the best route is to take the JR Sanyo Line from Hiroshima Station to Hiroshima Station. From there, you can transfer to a local bus. Take bus number 24 or 27 from the Hiroshima Bus Terminal towards Fukuromachi. The bus ride will take about 30 minutes. Get off at the Fukuromachi stop which is just a short walk from the museum. Please note that bus fares are approximately 200-300 yen one way.
