From any location in Hitachi, head towards Route 6 (also known as the Joban Expressway) and follow the signs for Tokyo. After approximately 25 km, take the exit towards Tsukuba and merge onto Route 354. Continue on Route 354 for about 15 km until you reach Chuo City. Once in Chuo City, follow the signs to Hamarikyuteien. The parking area for Shioiri-no-ike is nearby, but check for any parking fees, which can vary.

Start your journey at Hitachi Station. Take the JR Joban Line train towards Ueno Station. After about 50 minutes, arrive at Tokyo Station. From Tokyo Station, transfer to the JR Keihin-Tohoku Line and get off at Hamamatsucho Station. From there, it’s a 10-minute walk to Hamarikyuteien, where Shioiri-no-ike is located. Make sure to check the train schedule for any possible costs; a ticket from Hitachi to Tokyo typically costs around 1,500 yen.
